The check in process was smooth. Our host (Lewis/Louis sorry if I spelled it wrong!) made the process easy and was friendly with us and explained how to use all the van features. We had a Ford Transit which worked smoothly the whole journey. Perfect for a budget road trip!
I had an amazing experience with Travellers Autobarn for my Southwest road trip. The Chubby Camper was comfortable, easy to drive, and had everything we needed for a week of exploring national parks and scenic destinations. The pickup process was straightforward, the team was helpful, and the van made it easy to travel at our own pace while waking up to incredible views each day. If you’re looking for a fun and flexible way to explore the Southwest, I highly recommend Travellers Autobarn. It was an unforgettable adventure, and I would absolutely rent with them again.
First time using this kind of rental. Staff was great and super nice. Rented the Hi5 campervan and it was better than expected. Easy to drive and roomy. My teenagers loved it. Making the beds was super easy. Having the 2 SM fridges was great. Lots of lil cabinets. Stove was great. Will definitely use again if needed and have been recommending to everyone.
Erin was absolutely amazing to work with. I called Travellers Autobarn several times throughout the process, and she always answered my questions and was incredibly helpful and kind. She made everything much easier and was great at communicating. Truly some of the best customer service I’ve experienced!
When we came across travellers AutoBarn we were very excited to rent out this beautiful camper van we drove all the way up to Salem Ohio from los Angeles California , it came with two refrigerators a stove a microwave and a cozy amount of space to sleep!!! Drives very well in the snow and has a very powerful engine! The price they quoted us was exactly what we needed for our budget if I were to recommend a rental company it would be this one!
SAN FRANCISCO
We took our Kuga camper down the coast to LA and it was awesome. The route 101 drive is really beautiful and being able to stop off and have dinner in stunning places is a totally different experience from hotels and much more cost effective (Unlimited KMS!!!). Just a better way to see the country, WE EVEN SAW A HERD OF ZEBRAS?! Loved the ability to charge gear, refrigerate our groceries and cook anywhere. Super cozy. The team in San Fran are awesome and were really helpful. 10/10 would highly recommend for anyone looking for a versatile and all in one way to travel. We had 3 people and it could comfortably fit us all and our ridiculous overpacked luggage haha! My only complaint is it wasn't long enough :,) Thanks TAB x
We had a great experience with Travellers Autobarn. Rented from the San Francisco location. We found it to be a very fun and affordable way to explore Northern California and Southern Oregon. We also learned they have great customer service as we got a flat tire shortly after pick up but they came right out and put on a new tire and we were on our way. I would definitely rent from Travellers Autobarn again.
TravellersAutoBarn is awesome! We thought the van was rigged out perfectly for two people on the road for a couple weeks. It’s a perfect size for any campsite and really any place you want to visit along your travels. It’s a great value for your money and most importantly, it was reliable. We had a total blast on this trip! 🌈☮️🎶
Five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Landed San Francisco SFO. Picked up a converted minivan from Travellers Autobarn In Hayward. I rented the converted minivan with a sleeping pad, pillows two sleeping bags plus an extra kit of utensils and dishes, a cooler and a table and chairs Drove to the campsite and stayed four days three nights. It was awesome. I kept the windows open an inch for ventilation and I slept very well on the pad with the sleeping bags. Erik the manager of the site and the rest of the crew were all really great and getting the van ready for my camping trip and also when I dropped off. Very smooth and very good vibes!
Very happy with Travellers Autobarn! This was my first time renting a campervan. The company was readily available beforehand to answer all my questions via phone. They always answered, and were always super helpful. Picking up the van was easy and so was dropping it off. The van was great, it was an older van- basic, but we had no issues! Loved the sleeping accommodations in the van. I was so cozy every night and loved not being in a tent when it was . We only had an electric hook up for about four of the eight nights and we were fine. Even without electricity, we were able to Boil water with the propane tank, Keep food in the , and use the interior lights. It was my first time in a camper van, but will certainly not be my last!
LAS VEGAS
We highly recommend renting a van from Travellers Autobarn. We had the amazing opportunity to spend two months exploring the national parks of the United States, and our Hi5 truly became a second home. The vans are well maintained. They come with some miles and signs of usage, but that's kind of to be expected. The price is great and, based on our research, much cheaper than many other rental van companies. It offers great value for what you pay, with free mileage as well as free pick-up and drop-off at different locations. We especially want to highlight the great customer service. We had a stone stuck in our brakes that could not be dislodged. The team quickly arranged a replacement van so that we could continue our travels without much delay. A special thanks to the friendly staff at the Las Vegas branch, particularly Zia, for taking great care of everything. We would absolutely recommend booking with Travellers Autobarn.
Rented out of Las Vegas and got the Beeva van for my trip through all of the National parks in Utah. I was just solo and had plenty of room with ample space for 2 travelers. Very clean van with the added amenities that I opted for made the trip perfect. Way better gas mileage and range than I anticipated. The service that I received when I picked up and dropped off the vehicle was top notch. You can't put a price on the kindness and hospitality extended by the crew in the Vegas location. We had a wonderful trip! I am so glad that I found this company. The van was ready to go soon after we arrived. The drop off process was simple when we were done. We did all of the national parks in Utah. The first day, we named the van Dixie due to the many drives through that park. Dixie had some quirks, but she handled well once I learned proper shifting to keep the speed up on hills and down on the down slopes. She provided all of the electricity we needed. We had plenty of gas for cooking. The RV places we stayed at had immaculate bathrooms and showers! Had a few meals out, but that first day we stocked up at a Target and so we mostly made our own meals. The refrigerator was great. Rarely used the microwave since we only had a few nights with electrical hookups. Didn’t know that we couldn’t attach to the higher amp plug-ins until our three prong didn’t fit in the four-prong outlet ag one place. We survived just fine. Super glad we got the GPS stand for maps! Rented this van from Zia in Vegas and did a month long tour of the southwest. The people that travel is auto barn were incredibly accommodating in every way, and the van was spectacular for our trip! I can’t tell you how many people came up to us to ask us about it. If you have the adventuring spirit would recommend 10 out of 10. and definitely go see Zia in Las Vegas. Great place to start and end the trip!
I just had the most beautiful roadtrip from Las Vegas. We traveled to Page Arizona. We saw Horseshoe Bend and hiked The Wave, and Antelope Canyon. We then traveled through Utah and visited all 5 national parks. The van was amazing. We got the extra winter package that included a heated blanket and jackery battery bank. Temps were freezing at night. But we stayed warm with the provided sleeping bags and heated blanket. We got the Hi5 campervan. It had 2 fridges and the bed was easy to sleep on. We used the two burner stove to cook and make coffee. Mechanically the van was perfect. The customer service was top notch. I really liked the employees there. They were extremely helpful amd friendly. I would highly recommend renting from them. I am so happy I got to make a memory that will last a lifetime. Thank you so much, I cant wait to rent from them again.
