I recently took a Travellers Autobarn van from LA to four different national parks. This rental allowed us to stress less about logistics and spend more of our time just enjoying the views. If you are looking to explore the American Southwest, I highly recommend renting from Travellers Autobarn. Unlike other van rental companies, Travellers Autobarn gives renters free unlimited miles. You can also rent the van as young as 21, so we didn't have any issues with young driver fees. In addition to the US, Travellers Autobarn has rental opportunities in Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.
Picked up a van from Austin which we relocated to Los Angeles and had an incredible 10 day road trip through travellers autobarn. The van they supplied us with was modern, comfortable and had all the amenities we could have asked for; from a fridge, stove and microwave to solar panels on the top to prevent the battery dying. All the staff we encountered were super helpful, relaxed and helped contribute to a great experience. Anyone thinking about a road trip with Travellers Autobarn, you should go for it!
Such an amazing opportunity to experience a camper van ! All of the amenities in the van were convenient and easy to use during our 7 day road trip from south to Northern California. We were able to refrigerate a large amount of items, store plenty of dry food under the sink, and utilize the stove top to cook our entire trip with the available propane tank that comes with the vehicle. The car was well maintenance, providing for my partner and I a safe trip the entire trip. The customer service during the meet and greet from Luis was superb; he answered all of our questions and helped accommodate our needs. We appreciate the ease of use from Autobarn Travellers! We highly recommend and plan to return in the future .
Just finished up with the most amazing CA road trip.. it wouldn't have been what it was without Travellers Autobarn! We had the Kuga for 10 days and it was just perfect. TA provided everything we needed - sleeping bags, pillows, sheets, cookware, propane, water, etc - to make it so seamless. The camper van was the perfect size and so easy to drive. There's nothing like waking up in Yosemite and cooking breakfast in front of amazing views.. Thanks Travellers Autobarn for such a great experience! HIGHLY recommend using TA :)

I recently rented a camper van from Travellers Autobarn in Hayward, and my experience was outstanding. First off, their prices are very reasonable, offering great value for the fully fitted camper vans with unlimited miles. The camper itself was in great shape and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable trip. I did run into an issue with the propane stove at the beginning of my trip, but the customer service was exceptional. Sarah, the representative who assisted me, was super helpful and went above and beyond to resolve the problem, ensuring my trip went smoothly. The process of picking up and returning the camper was seamless. Junior, who assisted me, was incredibly friendly and helpful. He showed me all the ins and outs of the van, topped off my water, and even offered me a beverage. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and will definitely be renting from Travellers Autobarn again in the future.
We rented the campervan for ten days and were able to discover beautiful corners of California thanks to it. The check-in was easy and the staff helped us with any questions we had. During the short tour in and around the vehicle, everything worth knowing was mentioned so that we could get straight into van life. We were able to cook various dishes thanks to the well-equipped kitchen. There was also always room for a cold drink in the fridge. It was handy that the campervan had a solar panel so we could always charge our smartphones. We loved chilling out in the van and enjoying the view. We always felt safe whether we were driving or sleeping. Thank you Travellers Autobarn, we would love to rent with you again.

Such a wonderful experience renting from this company. We chose Travellers Autobarn because of the price and unlimited miles. Other companies tacked on a significant amount of fees and also required a large deposit. This was the only site we found that did not do that and also had unlimited miles. Everything was straightforward with reserving online, the rental agreement and picking up the van. As far as the van goes, everything worked great and was easy to use. No issues whatsoever. We never had hook-ups and never ran out of power! Very user friendly for people with little experience. Lots of storage and easy to clean. Amazing AC in the cab! Things to consider as a renter: the two fridges were plenty of room for two people so no need to bring a cooler. The above cabin sleeping area may feel claustrophobic for some and there is no additional room for an air mattress. The mats were fine to sleep on however. There is no AC in the van other than in the cab so would take that into consideration when choosing where to camp as it does get...

This company was amazing! Check in/check out was so quick and smooth. The staff were friendly and helpful. And you cant beat the price and UNLIMITED MILES! These vans are little rough around the edges and have some quirks but that makes the journey more fun. We will Definetly be using travellers autobarn again!
LAS VEGAS
We rented the kuga for a road trip across Utah and Arizona for my 30th birthday. What a surprise: we got a free upgrade to the hi5! The van had absolutely 0 issues; it was practically brand new. We drove about 1000 miles from Sedona to the Grand Canyon, Page, Bryce, Zion and Snow Canyon and it was amazing. The only thing I would say is that there aren’t a lot of kitchen tools provided (the bare minimum) and the fridges were sadly not clean when we got the van but nothing to deter from our experience. For the price, and unlimited mileage, this place can’t be beat. If we rent again, we will go with the hi5 or their brand new van coming soon - I would personally not go with the older Kuga just for the peace of mind. Also, their customer service is A++ on all fronts.
This was our second time booking with Travellers Autobarn (first one in San Francisco) and we had an amazing time. Great customer service and an easy check in and check out experience. These vans have some "quirks" to them, and are by no means "top of the line" but that makes the experience more memorable and enjoyable. And you definetly cannot beat the unlimited mileage! If your looking for an "all amenities" RV these may not be for. But if you're looking for a place to sleep after a long day of road tripping then these are absolutely perfect. My wife and I cannot say enough good things about this little hidden gem of a company.
The prices were a lot cheaper than all the competition (like Cruise America or Indie Campers). Despite that, our van was great value for the money. The check in and check out service people were extremely friendly and accommodating. The campervan was well built and great for three people (we went with Kuga). We had a great time and will miss it. What's not to like? I highly recommend Travellers Autobarn and if I do another road trip in the US, I will be going with them again.
I just turned in the van today and have already recommended it to friends and strangers! It is by far the best bang for your buck if you're looking to rent a van. Saw Travellers in New Zealand and found out they were in America, so I had to get one to test the hype. Vehicle: 100% worth the value. As they state on their website, these vehicles go into sand, mountains, and everywhere in between - many companies or people do not want you to do this. But they were exactly what we needed. Comfy bed, plenty of storage. Company: Staff were great, customer service was on top of anything you need, and the value is likely the best you'll find. We will be return customers if ever in TA locality. 💯
